Feels Like Home to Me

Last night really drove home the fact that I'm home for good. I was sitting in the Pepsi Center watching the Avalanche shut out the Ducks. Watching Super Joe's dynamic first stride in action. I haven't been to a live sporting event in over a year, a fairly regular occurrance before then. I fealt like home.

So an expansion of material previously hinted.

I was recruited for the new job south of Denver rather suddenly in mid January and began working as an Instructional Designer on the 5th of February. Andie and I became engaged with ring et. al. on Christmas Eve. I packed up my little spacemobile with the three suitcases worth of belongings that had kept me company through the year, said a hasty goodbye to the great people I met in Corvallis and drove home to Lafayette.

I now am the proud owner of a 90+ minute commute, but it ends in the presence of my lady, my monsters and my house so all in all its a very good trade.
