Karma or Baseball... Football... what's the difference.

With apologies to George Carlin and his classic Football/Baseball routine.

So those of you that follow the Conversation know that I rode my beloved Rockies right off a cliff in the World Series and suffered the disappointment with circumspection. I had to go to a Christmas party at the home of a Red Sox fan gleefully wearing a Red Sox T-shirt. Nothing like pouring lemon juice on the paper cut.

Well fast forward to Sunday when I the lifelong NY football Giants fan am invited to this home again for a Super Bowl party. He is once again wearing his Red Sox t-shirt figuring it brought him one world title. Surely the undefeated Patriots would be an easy winner over the lowly Giants. OOOPS!
