A Dream Deferred

Well Bugger! The Rocks got taken out behind the woodshed in the World Series. Bad pitching in games 1 and 3, inability to get the timely hit throughout the series. The better team won. The talent gap was not as great as the results would suggest, but the Red Sox were clearly a step ahead of the Rocks. If ownership keeps their promise to the fans and finds a way to keep these guys together we'll be back sooner, rather than later. This team took a quantum leap forward this year. It was amazing while it lasted.
